For Deak’s Dirt, Brian talks about a recent R.A.Salvatore question-and-answer session in which he says that killing Chewbacca in Vector Prime is the only thing he regrets. Brian gets a bit ranty and says that something needs to change in the Expanded Universe as far as killing off characters goes. Nanci’s also feeling a bit of rage over the revelation that Hasbro is thinking about making a new Mara Jade-Skywalker action figure that sports the dreaded catsuit.
Heading into Camie’s Concerns, Nanci and Brian talk about various romantic relationships in the realm of science fiction and fantasy. Couples from Star Wars, The X-Files, the Whedonverse, Battlestar Galactica are discussed. Nanci even dives in to gush about Lois and Clark*.
*Now there’s a show you haven’t thought about since the 90s!
